Fancy Dress Sizing Guide

Note - Fancy Costume Policy is to physically check the sizes of all Fancy Dress Costumes upon arrival in Ireland and this information is entered into the product descriptions. This should always be used as the size reference. This is due to the fact that certain costume sizings may not match exactly  the sizing description given on the packaging.If you are in doubt about a particular item, please send an e-mail to info@fancycostume.ie and we will confirm the fitting of that item.

Note: For costumes that contain jumpsuits, we have found that, with the exception of XXL sized jumpsuits, 6 feet 1 inch is typically the maximum height due to the restriction in the body length. We want you to get you outfit right first time so if you are over 6 feet 1 inch it would be better to choose a two piece outfit i.e top and seperate pants. If a costume has a drop down menu then the fancy dress item comes in different sizes.

If there is no drop down menu then the size specified for each fancy dress item is the only size range available at that time. If for example the description states "Fits Sizes 10 - 12", this means that the costume will fit both sizes 10 and 12, and not that both sizes actually exist. Fancy Dress Costumes often come with adjustable fittings to allow for multiple size ranges but please check each item first before purchase.

If the item has a drop down menu and a particular size is not available, you product quantity will be highlighted as zero in your cart. You should also see a clear warning message informing you that the item has a zero stock level at that time. We do not take payment for items not in stock.
