Question 1 : How long does it take for my order to arrive after I have completed the checkout process? 

Answer 1 : Once payment is made with a credit card/laser card by the latest shipment time as per our delivery terms, the order will ship the same day for next business day delivery.

Please note there are no deliveries on Saturday or Sundays or Bank Holiday Mondays. Please see our delivery terms for details.

Question 2 : Do you deliver throughout Ireland and with the same delivery times?

Answer 2 : Yes we deliver throughout Ireland, most of the world in fact. There are only express shipments within Ireland.

Question 3 : What address should I use?

Answer 3 : When customers are completing the delivery details page, make sure to use the best delivery address in the "delivery address" section. If this needs to be a work address that is fine. Often, Fancy Costume do not deliver the goods themselves so somebody needs to be there to collect the goods. This is particularily important with shipments with tight deadlines as the customer will have to travel to a collection depot if they are not present for delivery and time may be tight. Customers can add additional detail in the relevant section of the checkout process but please note that, even if you request a phone number on the label or instruction to leave goods with someone else, the delivery service typically can not follow these instructions, due to their business reglations. Fancy Costume can provide tracking numbers for all registered and express shipments.

Question 4 : How Do I Pay:

Answer 4 : Customers can pay using the following methods

• Mastercard/Visa/Laser/Debit Cards - Just add the required fancy dress items to your shopping cart. When you are finished, click the "Checkout" button. This will bring you to the delivery details page where you will be required to complete various fields. At the bottom of the page the various payment options are clear in the dropdown menu. Just select Mastercard/Visa/Laser and continue with the checkout process. You will be asked for the type of shipping required and then given an order total. Once you are happy to continue with checking out, you will be brought to our secure internet payment providers where you just select the card type.
• Paypal - Just add the required fancy dress items to your shopping cart. When you are finished, click the "Checkout" button. This will bring you to the delivery details page where you will be required to complete various fields. At the bottom of the page the various payment options are clear in the dropdown menu. Just select Paypal and continue with the checkout process. You will be asked for the type of shipping required and then given an order total. Once you are happy to continue with checking out, you will be brought to a secure Paypal page where you just enter the relevant login details for quick payment. If you do not have a paypal account you can use the non registered users link to pay with your credit card details.
• Money Order/Cheque - Fancy Costume do facilitate money order/cheque orders but please note that goods are not automatically held without our clearance. It is advisable to contact us if you want to place a money order/cheque order and try to get the funds to us as quick as possible to avoid auto deletion of your order. We can prevent this once agreed in advance. Fancy Costume have to request this process to avoid cheque orders holding stock and suqsequently never arrive which leaves another potential customer dissapointed.

Question 5 : How do I know which size to order?

Answer 5 : Fancy Costume have every costume sized and entered into the product detailed descrition as accurately as possible. Please note that costumes are manufactured in many countries and sometimes sizing on packets can be different than actual physical sizes. Also, a large in one costume may be equal in size to one described as medium for another costume. The best way to judge sizes is to select the correct choice from the dropdown menu where the costume is available in multiple sizes. Please don't order a costume sized for a 10 and place a request in the additional information for a size 16 as the costume may not be in stock in the larger size. If there are no sizes options available in a dropdown menu , this means that we currently only have one size in that particular costume. For more information please refer to the sizing guide.

Question 6 : What if Fancy Costume don't have the fancy dress outfit I want in stock?

Answer 6 : If an item is showing as out of stock on our site we can usually get that item within one week, possibly as little as 2 days. If an item is not showing anywhere at all we can usually get it as well but always try to allow as much time as possible. If we don't have readily available supply of the items required we an get it made for you but again we need more time for this and the cost will be higher than standard stock items on our website.
